GPLXC exists because people believed community could build something of its own.

We didn't begin with a large institution behind us.

We began with people who cared about Gage Park and believed that our communities deserved spaces to organize, create, connect, and imagine a different future.

That grassroots foundation is not something we want to outgrow.

It is something we want to protect.

For nearly a decade, GPLXC has demonstrated what can happen when community members have the opportunity to build together.

We have created programs.

We have responded to crises.

We have supported neighbors.

We have made art.

We have gathered.

We have documented history.

We have created spaces for youth and Queer and Latine communities.

And we have continued to show up.

That is grassroots power.

It isn't about being the biggest organization in the room.

It is about being deeply connected to the people and places you serve, and having the freedom to respond to what those communities actually need.

Getting to ten is about more than reaching a date.

2028 will mark ten years of GPLXC.

But ten years should not be the end of the story.

It should be a moment when we look at everything our community has built and ask:

What could the next ten years look like if we had the stability to dream bigger?

That question belongs to all of us.

Because GPLXC's future cannot be built by GPLXC alone.

It will take donors who decide to invest for the long term.

Funders who recognize the value of grassroots infrastructure.

Partners who open doors.

Neighbors who show up.

People who share our work.

People who bring others into the circle.

People who believe that community organizations deserve not only to survive, but to have the resources to build.

This is your invitation.

You don't have to live in Gage Park to be part of GPLXC's future.

You don't have to have a large amount of money.

You don't have to know exactly what your role is yet.

You can give.

You can become a monthly supporter.

You can introduce us to someone.

You can attend an event.

You can share our story.

You can simply decide that this work matters enough to help carry it forward.

Our first ten years belong to everyone who helped build them.

The next ten can belong to all of us, too.
